Some people have said that stretching exercises can help you to get taller naturally because stretching helps you to decompress the cartilage in specific body parts, thereby allowing it to thicken and grow, making you taller. Cat Stretch for Getting Taller
Sit down on your knees and hands like the way a cat would on a carpet and then arch your back and pull your neck towards your chest. After which, bend your back and pull your neck upwards so your nose is facing the ceiling. Holding each position for a few seconds and breathe in while you are facing upwards and downwards when you are facing downwards. This cat stretch helps to open your spine easily.
Standing Forward Bend (Uttasana)
Stand straight with your feet shoulder width apart. Exhale and bend forward from your hip joints, as you lower yourself down lengthen your front torso and relax. Try not to bend your knees and legs at all.
To begin this exercise, stand with your feet approximately 18 inches apart and your palms on the back of your thighs.
Exhale and bend forward from the hip joints, not from the waist. As you descend draw the front torso out of the groins and open the space between the pubis and top sternum. As in all the forward bends, the emphasis is on lengthening the front torso as you move more fully into the position.
If possible, put your palms or finger tips on the floor beside your feet or bring your palms to the back of your ankles. Otherwise, cross your forearms and try to touch each elbow. Depending on your preference, stay in this pose for 1 minute or so.
Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana)
Lie on a carpet or mat with your stomach on the floor and toes pointing behind you. Put your hands next to your body beside your rip cage. Inhale and push off your hands by lifting your hand and chest away from the ground and lean your head backwards.
Your chest should move forwards and upwards. Don’t strain your lower back. Hold in this pose for 30 seconds to a minute before gently lowering yourself down.
Like any other muscle development program, results will come over repeated efforts. You might see yourself getting taller in the matter of weeks or months or perhaps even years.
